PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact liquid crystal driver (semiconductor integrated circuit for driving liquid crystal) having built-in DA converter circuits to convert digital image data into an analog gradation voltage and outputting a voltage applied to the signal line (source line) of a color liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: Output amplifiers (160: AMP1-AMP480) of the final stage to output an image signal converted into a gradation voltage are divided into a plurality of groups. The D/A converter circuits (160: DAC1-DAC40) converting the image data into a gradation voltage are arranged as circuits common to the groups, and time sharing operation of the D/A converter circuits is carried out while changing the groups. The output amplifiers of the final stage are selected to group the output amplifies relating to image signals of the same color. A selector function is arranged between the D/A converting circuits and the output amplifiers, and the image signals converted into the gradation voltages by the D/A converting circuits are distributed to desired hold circuits.
