PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of small-sizing without reducing light quantity detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The light source device includes a light source 11, a coupling lens 13, a first aperture plate 14, a second aperture plate 16, a light-receiving element 18, a package member 21, a cover glass 22, a half mirror 23 and a light source control device 30. Regarding the direction corresponding to a main scanning and the direction corresponding to a sub scanning, the divergence angles (θm, θs) of a luminous flux emitted from the light source 11, the radiation angles (θm1, θs1) of the luminous flux passing through the aperture part A, and the radiation angles (θm2, θs2) of the luminous flux passing through the aperture part B satisfy the relations ¾(θm1-θm2)/θm¾≤0.085 and ¾(θs1-θs2)/θs¾≤0.085.
