PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna capable of concentrating electric fields near a patch antenna. SOLUTION: The antenna (1) includes: a disk-shaped radiating element (2) having an opening (2b) in a center area and configured to radiate a radio wave; a ground plate (3) having a surface (3a) roughly parallel to the radiating element; and a power feeding element (5) a part (5a) of which is located on the inner side of the opening when viewed from a predetermined direction orthogonal to a surface on which the radiating element is located, for exciting the radiating element. A current density in an area along the opening of the radiating element is higher than a current density in an area on the outer peripheral side of the radiating element.
