<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein the response of a battery at the moment of switching charge and discharge is low, since a conventional large air secondary battery system is a system formed in a manner wherein an air intake port is fixed and a direction of an air flow in a pipe is fixed for each case of discharge and charge. <P>SOLUTION: The path of the air flow poured into a power generation section of an air secondary battery in the air secondary battery system is reversed at the time of switching charge and discharge. Immediately after switching charging from discharging or discharging from charging, air with different oxygen concentration necessary for rise of charging or discharging after switching, namely, air with low oxygen concentration in the former, and air with high oxygen concentration in the latter can be immediately supplied to the power generation section; and proper system response for frequent switching of charge and discharge modes can be secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
