<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the number of passwords that can be managed is limited because the passwords are stored in an internal storage area of a digital recorder for monitoring. <P>SOLUTION: In a password system which has a system body 100 that is provided in a protection target device 102 and an electronic key 10 which can be attached to and removed from the protection target device 102 and is provided for the determination of the availability of the operation of the protection target device 102 in cooperation with the system body 100, the electronic key 10 has a key body 8 which is created by irreversibly converting key body generation information 6 which is first generation information including a first password, and when the electronic key 10 is attached to the protection target device 102 and an operation of the protection target device 102 is requested, the system body 100 compares a key body 13 created by irreversibly converting key body generation information 11 which is second generation information including a second password input upon request for operation with the key body 8 and determines whether or not to permit the operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
