PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a group information control device for easily generating zoning setting formation, a switch device and a group information generating method. SOLUTION: The group information control device 20 includes: a group information input unit 21 for receiving the input of first group information in which a target device and a plurality of host devices which are connected to the target device are associated with one another; and a group information generating unit 22 for generating a second group for making a part of host device groups included in the first group information associated with the target device included in the first group information, and a third group for making a host device group which is a part of the host device groups included in the first group information and has a different combination from the host device groups included in the second group associated with the target device included in the first group information.
