<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly cope with a situation in which warning information is transmitted. <P>SOLUTION: In ISDB-T standard, earthquake motion warning information is transmitted by an AC (auxiliary channel) signal. Before receiving the 204-th bit which is a final bit composing the AC signal, a receiving part 12 determines whether the earthquake motion warning information is transmitted at the timing of receiving up to a predetermined bit. When determining that the earthquake motion warning information is transmitted, a quick detection flag expressing the transmission is generated by the receiving part 12 and input to an interruption pin of a controller 16. The controller 16 receiving the quick detection flag input to the interruption pin starts processing for notifying a user of information concerned with earthquake.
