PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained-release apparatus for an exuviation inhibitor for mosquito larval bodies, which inhibits embryos of mosquito from becoming adults and suppresses the development of mosquito for a long term by charging the apparatus into a water pool for egg production of mosquito, such as a rain water box, a pipe, a gutter, or a small pond, in the neighborhood of a building. SOLUTION: The sustained-release apparatus for an exuviation inhibitor for mosquito larval bodies produces a drug by coloring pyriproxyfen with a harmless pigment 3, causing the colored pyriproxyfen to be adsorbed by diatomaceous earth 2 being a porous material, making a hole 5 at the center of a block object 4 having an unlevel surface, and putting a piece of string 1 through the hole 5.
