<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device package and an illumination system that obtain an effective color rendering index. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device package includes: a sub mount; a light-emitting element chip on the sub mount; a wavelength filter formed on the sub mount so as to include a space with the light-emitting element chip; and a phosphor layer on the wavelength filter, wherein the space is filled with at least one of air, an argon gas (Ar gas), a nitrogen gas (N<SB>2</SB>gas), and a vacuum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
