<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image decoding and displaying device capable of suppressing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image decoding and displaying device 100 includes: a decoding processing circuit 104 for decoding an encoded stereoscopic image signal; a stereoscopic image information processing circuit 105 for calculating distance information indicating a display position of an object included in a stereoscopic image based on the stereoscopic image signal decoded by the decoding processing circuit 104; a control circuit 107 for calculating post-processing information which changes an execution frequency of post-processing in accordance with the distance information; and a post-processing section 106 for performing post-processing on the stereoscopic image signal in accordance with the post-processing information to produce display image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
