<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing method capable of performing weighted-mean processing which can suppress image blur. <P>SOLUTION: An image-pickup system 1 has: a sensor 10 in which color filters comprising R, Gb, Gr, or B are formed at predetermined positions of a matrix array of pixels; a reduction processing unit for performing reduction processing to an image obtained by the sensor 10; and a weighted-mean processing unit 21 which is provided in a post-stage of the reduction processing unit and in a pre-stage of a pixel interpolation unit to convert Bayer format data obtained from the sensor 10 into an RGB image by interpolation processing and performs weighted-mean processing on R, Gb, Gr, and B pixel values as values of pixels in which the color filters comprising R, Gb, Gr, or B are formed except for one or more of the R, Gb, Gr and B pixel values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
