<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of simplifying an authentication process for permitting a connection. <P>SOLUTION: A reception part 50 of one wireless device connected to one image pickup device has an image for authentication displayed on a monitor on the one image pickup device, and receives a connection request together with the image for authentication displayed on the monitor mounted on the one image pickup device and imaged by the other image pickup device, from the other wireless device connected to the other image pickup device. An obtainig part 52 obtains an image for reference to be compared with the received image for authentication from the one image pickup device. An authenitcation part 54 authenticates the connection with the other wireless device on the basis of the obtained image for reference and the received image for authentication. A response part 56, when permitting the connection with the other wireless device by authentication, transmits the connection permission to the other wireless device.
