PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting device sorting materials to be sorted into three of large, medium and small in specific gravity difference. SOLUTION: The sorting device M includes a body 1 having a receiving opening 1a for the materials to be sorted, a roughly U-shaped first passage 1A served as convex toward an upper part, a first connecting passage connecting a second opening 6 with a first opening 5, a first air fan feeding the air in the inside, a first controlling means for controlling it, a first recovery opening 11 formed in the lower end part of a passage 1A1, a roughly U-shaped second passage 1B installed in the body and served as convex toward the upper part, a third connecting passage 15 connecting a third opening 14 with a second passage 1B1, a second air fan feeding the air in the inside from the third opening 14 in a direction toward the second passage of a rising side, a second controlling means for controlling it, a second recovery opening 12 formed in the second passage of the rising side, and a third recovery opening 17 formed in the lower end part of the second passage 1B2 of a descending side.
