<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select print setting applied to a new print instruction while using the print setting of the last print instruction when an electronic document is printed. <P>SOLUTION: An input attribute holding part 35 holds the print setting designated by an application 20 in a print job received by a print information receiving part 31 and a determination parameter value acquired by a determination parameter acquiring part 33 concerning the print job. An output attribute holding part 36 holds the print setting and determination parameter value in the print job outputted from a client PC 10 immediately before. A print setting selecting part 32 selects the print setting of the output attribute holding part 36 when the determination parameter values held by the input attribute holding part 35 and the output attribute holding part 36 satisfy a predetermined determination condition, and selects the print setting of the input attribute holding part 35 when satisfaction is not obtained.
