<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved syringe suited for use with a receptacle of the type having a self-contained movable piercing member. <P>SOLUTION: The syringe 100 includes a barrel 114 having a distal end 114d and a proximal end 114p. At least one finger member 150 is provided near the distal end 114d of the barrel 114.
