<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering molybdenum and vanadium which can increase the treatment efficiency of a waste catalyst, and further, can improve a recovery rate for recovering molybdenum and vanadium from the waste catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering molybdenum and vanadium contained in a waste catalyst comprises: a roasting step of roasting the waste catalyst by a rotary kiln 1 together with an additive containing an alkali metal compound; and a recovering step of recovering molybdenum and vanadium from a roasted matter obtained in the roasting step, wherein the additive is granulated. Since both waste catalyst and additive are granular, both can be uniformly mixed in the rotary kiln, and, even if the additive is charged into a roasting furnace together with the waste catalyst, the scattering of the additive can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
