<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the trouble caused by the individual difference of a light-receiving element and the trouble caused by a change in light path length or the motion of an element, which produces the difference of a received light energy value, in the same direction as a light path direction. <P>SOLUTION: The gas concentration calculation device is equipped with a gas cell 10 for forming an introducing space into which target gas is introduced, the light source 20 arranged in the gas cell 10, the rotary mirror 30 arranged on one end of the gas cell 10 and reflecting or transmitting the light emitted from the light source 20 by rotation, the light-receiving section 50 arranged to the other end of the gas cell 10 and receiving the direct light directly emitted from the light source 20 and the light emitted from the light source 20 and reflected by the rotary mirror 30, and a calculation circuit 3 for calculating the concentration of the target gas on the basis the ratio of the recieved light energy value of the light-receiving section 50 in respective cases that light is reflected and transmitted by the rotary mirror 30.
