<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a navigation device without losing the usability. <P>SOLUTION: The navigation device 10 includes: an improvement factor information table in which improvement factor information in which power consumption improvement factor is corresponded to control contents of each constituent factor of the navigation device 10 is stored; and setting condition information table in which setting condition information to which setting conditions preliminarily defined, a target to be controlled, and setting control contents set at the target to be controlled are corresponded is stored. The navigation device 10 searches a transfer pathway to a destination, confirms whether the transfer pathway searched satisfies any setup conditions, determines the setting control contents of each target to be controlled about the transfer pathway, sets the setting control content determined and calculates the power consumption improvement when moving through the transfer pathway, and sets each setting control content determined about the transfer pathway as corresponding each target to be controlled based on the power consumption improvement factor of the transfer pathway calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
