PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor apparatus having sense elements, which has reduced manufacturing cost, obviates cumbersomeness caused in the use thereof, and has a stabilized sense ratio by reducing variance in a sense ratio from a low current to a large current and making the variance constant. SOLUTION: There is provided a power MOSFET 100 that has one main MOSFET 61 and two sense MOSFETs 62 and 63 which are formed on the same semiconductor substrate, and that has a stabilized sense ratio by selecting the sense MOSFETs 62 and 63 according to a current to be used for changing a sense ratio thereby reducing variance in a sense ratio from a low current to a large current and making the variance constant.
