摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head which has no variation in liquid ejection characteristic in a nozzle array, and to provide a liquid ejection apparatus by which a predetermined amount of liquid is ejected. SOLUTION: The position of an ink introducing port 231 is located at the opposite side in a gravity direction g to the center of a row 224 of pressure chambers 221, and therefore pressure generated by ink introduction is applied to a region influenced small by head pressure and low in pressure. In addition, the position of the ink introducing port 231 becomes far from a region influenced largely by the head pressure and high in pressure, and consequently a fall of the pressure caused by an increase of flow path resistance occurs in the region influenced largely by the head pressure and high in pressure. By this, a difference of pressure applied to ink supply ports 223 can be made small. An ink-jet recording head 200 which can make a difference of pressure in the pressure chambers 221 small, can make a difference in ink discharge characteristic between nozzle openings 211 small, and has small variation in a discharge amount of ink when changing the pressure in the pressure chambers 221 to eject the ink from the nozzle openings 211 can be obtained accordingly.
