PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent remaining coins from being erroneously selected at restarting even though a device stops to leave the coins behind in the middle of a coin conveying path due to an unexpected power failure or the like. SOLUTION: When the power is on, the conveying direction of coins by a conveyor belt 22 and a sorting belt 32 is made reverse from a coin housing part 41 side to a coin throw-in opening 4 side to perform a conveying operation.
