PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge head unit which can secure a high precision nozzle arrangement, and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: A head and sub-plate assembly 22 is constituted by mounting a liquid droplet discharge head 17 on a sub-plate 20, and the liquid droplet discharge head unit is constituted by mounting the head and sub-plate assembly 22 on a base frame 15. Positioning parts 26a to 26c, and 19a to 19c to come into contact with a common positioning jig for assembling which performs mutual positioning between the sub-plate 20 and the liquid droplet discharge head 17 are provided in the sub-plate 20 and the liquid droplet discharge head 17, respectively.
