PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire monitoring system capable of easily performing relocation and expansion of sensors. SOLUTION: The fire monitoring system includes a plurality of sensor nodes 10, set on a partitioning surface partitioning a monitoring object space, with each of the sensor nodes including a sensor and a radio transmission unit wirelessly transmitting detection information from the sensor; a radio-receiving unit which receives detection information transmitted from the radio-transmitting unit; and an information processing unit 50 which acquires fire breakout position information indicating a fire breakout position by use of two or more sets of the detection information received by the radio-receiving unit and setting position information indicating the setting positions of the sensor nodes. The sensor is a temperature sensor which detects temperature rise due to fire. The information processing unit 50 acquires the fire breakout position information, based on temperature rise ratios of the raised temperature of a reference sensor node which has detected the highest temperature to the raised temperatures of the other sensor nodes, and the setting position information of the other sensor nodes.
