PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate positioning of an operating member in a screw feed mechanism. SOLUTION: This linear actuator includes the screw feed mechanism for converting the rotation of a rotor part 90 of a stepping motor 8 into the axial advancing/retreating movement of the operating member 7, and a regulating means for regulating the rotation angle of the rotor part 90. The screw feed mechanism includes a support member 120 fixed to a fixed member 130 of a partition wall 30 to support the operating member 7 in an unrotatable and axially movable manner, and an external thread 71a and an internal thread 95 provided at the operating member 7 and the rotor part 90 and meshed with each other.
