A base station includes a wireless communication interface configured to perform wireless communication with a mobile station being under control of the base station; and a processor configured to control the wireless communication interface to perform wireless communication with the mobile station being under control of the base station by making use of such subchannels which not only have different combinations of subcarriers when compared to any subchannel in a first subchannel group that is used by an adjacently-installed adjacent base station that performs wireless communication with a mobile station being under control thereof, but also include same subcarriers as subcarriers assigned to any one of subchannels in the first subchannel group.
