The disclosed column (13) for chromatography is provided with: a duct (12) that has a pair of side walls (23) and a bottom wall, and within which a mobile phase can be streamed; and a plurality of pillar sections (31, 32) each disposed regularly spaced with a predetermined gap. Here, the outer surface of each pillar section (31, 32) contains a curved surface. The side walls (23) contain in a portion thereof a curved surface that follows the outer surface of a pillar section (31). Here, in the direction of streaming of the mobile phase, the shortest distance between the side walls (23) and pillar sections (31, 32) that are provided at a position closest to the side walls (23) is the same as the shortest distance between pillar sections (31, 32).
