<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system reducing the color unevenness of illumination light when using a false white LED as a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system 10 includes: the LED 11 for radially emitting white light frontward; and a lens sheet 21, having a plurality of prisms 22 concentric around an optical axis C all over, for controlling the distribution of the white light emitted from the LED 11. The LED 11 as the false white LED consists of: an LED chip 14 for emitting blue light; a phosphor 16 for emitting yellow light while receiving the blue light emitted from the LED chip 14; and a sealing body 15, onto which the phosphor 16 is distributed, for covering the LED chip 14. The lens sheet 21 consists of a plurality of Fresnel prisms 23 and a plurality of TIR prisms 24.
