<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely eliminate electric charges on the surface of a photoreceptor drum by preventing breakage of an eraser in replacing a drum unit. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus 1, the drum unit 31 having the photoreceptor drum 19 is provided to be inserted and removed to and from an image forming apparatus body 2. The apparatus includes the eraser 28, which comes close to the photoreceptor drum 19 with insertion of the drum unit 31 to the image forming apparatus body 2 and separates from the photoreceptor drum 19 with removal of the drum unit 31 from the image forming apparatus body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
