AQUEOUS PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND UTILIZATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive sheet having excellent foam repulsion resistance, and to provide an aqueous pressure-sensitive adhesive composition suitable for forming the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. SOLUTION: The aqueous pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises an acrylic polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer raw material comprising an alkyl (meth)acrylate as main monomer and simultaneously comprising acrylic acid and methacrylic acid. The mass-average molecular weight of a THF-soluble portion of the acrylic polymer is preferably 65×104to 100×104. The monomer raw material comprises a silanol group-forming monomer, and is preferably a monomer raw material affording a polymer having 7-17% mass ratio of an ethyl acetate-insoluble portion when polymerized in a composition except the silanol group-forming monomer. The mass ratio of the ethyl acetate-insoluble portion occupying the pressure-sensitive adhesive after cross-linking is preferably 20-55%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
