摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for an optical molded article, having satisfactory transparency, hue, heat resistance, film-forming property, film strength, film appearance and retardation developing property, and to provide a stretched film having negative orientational birefringence, by molding the resin composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition for an optical molded article includes 20-40 mass% of the following styrene-maleimide copolymer (A) and 60-80 mass% of a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (B), wherein an unstretched film of the composition having 100μm thickness shows a haze of 1.0% or less measured in accordance with ASTM D1003. The copolymers are: (A) a copolymer comprising 40-70 mass% of styrene monomers, 30-60 mass% of maleimide monomers, 0-15 mass% of unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomers and 0-15 mass% of acrylonitrile monomers, and having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 100,000-145,000; and (B) a copolymer comprising 70-82 mass% of styrene monomers and 18-30 mass% of acrylonitrile monomers and having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 150,000-250,000.
