PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately measure the breadth of a lock joint and the groove width of the lock joint. SOLUTION: A lock joint measuring gauge in a metal roof gauge includes: a main scale 1 including a straightedge part 11 and a fixed jaw 12; and a slider 2 including a slider body part 21 slidably put for the straightedge part 11 and a movable jaw 22 facing the fixed jaw 12. A sag measuring plate piece 3 contacted on the rear side base line 81a of the lock joint 81 of the metal roof 8 is formed in a lower side from the outside measuring face 12a of the fixed jaw 12. A projection piece 4a for measuring a groove with a prescribed interval being height from the upper side of the lock joint 81 to a substantial center of a part of a groove part 81b is formed on the rear face side of the slider body part 21. The edge of the projection piece 4a for measuring the groove and an outside measuring face 22a of the movable jaw 22 are formed so that they are matched. The groove width L<SB>2</SB>of the lock joint 81 is made measurable between the sag measuring plate piece 3 and the edge of the projection piece 4a for measuring the groove.
