<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery with less time degradation caused by charge and discharge. <P>SOLUTION: A surface layer is obtained by fixing and solidifying an Sn-Cu-Mn molten alloy on a surface of an electrode formed of Cu or an alloy containing Cu as a primary element. The Cu of the alloy used for the surface layer is 0.1-3.0 wt.%, and Mn is 0.0001-1 wt.%. An Sn component exposed on the surface is selectively eliminated. By adopting this negative electrode, a discharge time is not contracted even when charge and discharge are repeated, and approximately constant stable discharge is conducted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
