METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CLEANING POLLUTANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for cleaning pollutant which more accelerates the microorganism decomposition reaction rate, secures repeatability of the microorganism reaction upon cleaning pollutant containing chlorinated organic compounds by the microorganism decomposition reaction, and is more effective for decomposing the compound in the pollutant to not higher than the environmental reference value.

SOLUTION: A pollutant containing chlorinated compound such as dioxins is thrown into an arbitrarily temperature adjustable dechlorinating stirring tank 1 to remove chlorine from the contaminant by a dechlorinating microorganism with 60°C of optimum temperature. Then the contaminant dechlorinated by the microorganism is thrown into an arbitrarily temperature adjustable compound decomposition stirring tank 2 to decompose the compound after dechlorination contained in the contaminant by the compound decomposing microorganism with 65°C of optimum temperature to clean the pollutant.
