<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical device which easily generates various harmonic sound; and to provide a program for achieving a harmonic sound-generating method. <P>SOLUTION: When a user varies a pitch of singing voice, the amount of change in the pitch is calculated. It is determined whether the amount of change and the changed pitch of the singing voice conform to a parallel-shift harmonic sound-generating rule which is being set. When the conformity is determined as a result of the determination, a pitch of the harmonic sound generated immediately before is shifted in parallel by the amount of change to determine a new pitch of the harmonic sound. A request for generating harmonic sound of the pitch is made to a sound source circuit. When nonconformity is determined, on the other hand, a pitch of the harmonic sound associated with the changed pitch of the singing voice, is read out from a harmonic sound-generating table being selected, in the same manner as conventional harmonic sound-generating processing, and a request for generating harmonic sound of the pitch is made to the sound source circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
