<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that reduces the time required for producing an enlarged image and reduces a clock frequency required for producing the magnified image. <P>SOLUTION: A selector 48 repeatedly receives image data having 360×2,000 pixels as original image data. Zoom systems ZM2 and ZM3 perform two kinds of reduction processes on the received original image data in parallel, to repeatedly produce two kinds of reduction image data each having 240×640 pixels. Buffer circuits BF2 and BF3 synthesize the two kinds of reduced image data output from the zoom systems ZM2 and ZM3 to produce enlarged image data having 480×640 pixels.
