PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding device having a slide structure that hardly causes rattling, and also to provide electronic equipment using the slide device. SOLUTION: A sliding part 2 provided on a second member B is slidably engaged between sliding guide parts 1 and 1 provided on a first member A in the sliding device. The sliding device is configured so that a projection is provided in a predetermined part. The projection has a height that prevents slidability of the sliding part between the sliding guide parts since it hinders sliding or reduces the distance between sliding surfaces. The projection is crushed to have a height by a crushing operation before sliding engagement so that the sliding part is slidably engaged between the sliding guide parts.
