PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing noise caused by the nonlinearity of an AD converter. SOLUTION: The display device includes an AD converter, a signal processing circuit, a gamma conversion circuit, a driver circuit, and a gamma conversion characteristic setting circuit. The AD converter converts an analog input signal into a digital signal. The signal processing circuit converts the digital signal converted by the AD converter into an image display signal. The gamma conversion circuit applies gamma correction to the output of the signal processing circuit. The driver circuit drives a display, on the basis of the signal applied with the gamma correction by the gamma conversion circuit. The gamma conversion characteristic setting circuit holds gamma correction data for improving the linearity of the AD converter, and outputs gamma conversion data calculated using the gamma correction data to the gamma conversion circuit.
