<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply lubricant for an endless belt pressed by a pressing member. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus being an intermediate transfer type image forming apparatus called a tandem type generally includes: a plurality of image forming units 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K where toner images of respective color components are formed by an electrophotographic system; a primary transfer part 10 successively transferring (primarily transferring) the toner images of the respective color components formed by the image forming units 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K to an intermediate transfer belt 15; a secondary transfer part 20 collectively transferring (secondarily transferring) a superposed toner image transferred onto the intermediate transfer belt 15 to paper P being recording material (recording paper); a micro-droplet ejection device 60 supplying lubricant for lowering sliding resistance of the intermediate transfer belt 15; and a fixing device 70 fixing the secondarily transferred image on the paper P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
