摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive internal power supply circuit for a semiconductor memory, which enables the semiconductor memory to perform a stable memory operation even when current supply is concentrated. SOLUTION: Only one of a first differential amplifier which generates a difference signal indicating a difference between a first voltage as a standard power supply voltage value of a sense amplifier provided on the semiconductor memory and a voltage on a power supply line, and a second differential amplifier which generates a difference signal indicating a difference between a second voltage higher than the first voltage and the voltage on the power supply line, is activated depending on the state (the active state, the inactive state) of the sense amplifier. A power supply voltage generated based on the difference signal supplied from the activated one of the differential amplifiers is supplied via the power supply line to the sense amplifier. In this case, the second differential amplifier is maintained in the active state until a predetermined period of time has elapsed since the transition of the sense amplifier from the inactive state to the active state, and after the lapse of the predetermined period of time, the first differential amplifier is maintained in the active state.
