PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect abnormal transmission between a wireless base station side antenna and a wireless communication terminal side antenna, and protect a relay amplification device if detecting it. SOLUTION: The relay amplification device 1 amplifies and relays wireless signals transmitted and received between a wireless base station 2 and a terminal 3. If the relay amplification device 1 determines that a first thermal noise voltage level in a lower band than an operation band is greater than a first reference value, a second thermal noise voltage level in a higher band than the operation band is greater than a second reference value, and whether the voltage level of an upward wireless signal output from the relay amplification device 1 to the wireless base station 2 is greater than a third reference value, the amplifying ratios of a downward wireless signal transmitted from the wireless base station 2 to the terminal 3 and an upward wireless signal transmitted from the terminal 3 to the wireless base station 2 are controlled so as to be a smaller value than a current amplifying ratio.
