The invention relates to a method for managing a cell (104) of a radio telecommunication network (102), this cell (104) comprising a site controller (100) intended to control, via a packet network (114), a plurality of transmitters (1081, 1082, 1083; 1101, 1102, 1103; 1121, 1122, 1123) distributed over different sites (1, 2, 3) of the cell (104) such that the transmitters (1081, 1082, 1083; 1101, 1102, 1103; 1121, 1122, 1123) of these different sites (1, 2, 3) transmitting over a same frequency band form a transmission channel (10, 20, 30), a channel (10) of said transmission channel (10, 20, 30) being a control channel dedicated to the transmission of signals relative to the operation of the cell (104), said signals comprising general operating signals and specific operating signals, characterized in that the method comprises a transmission of a request comprising general operating signals from the site controller (100) to at least one transmitter (1082) selected by said site controller (100) to control storage of general operating signals in said selected transmitter (1082), and to control handling of a transmission of said general operating signals addressed to all of the terminals (105) present in the cell (104) over said control channel (10) in case of failure of the site controller (100) and/or of the packet network (114). |
