Disclosed is an electronic device which is provided with: a base substrate having the surface thereof formed of a silicon crystal; a III-V compound semiconductor crystal formed in a region of a part of the silicon crystal; an electronic element which includes a part of the III-V compound semiconductor crystal as an active layer; an insulating film, which is formed on the base substrate, and which covers the electronic element; an electrode formed on the insulating film; a first connecting wiring line, which penetrates the insulating film, has at least a part thereof formed on the insulating film, and electrically connects together the electronic element and the electrode; a passive element formed on the insulating film; and a second connecting wiring line, which penetrates the insulating film, has at least a part thereof formed on the insulating film, and electrically connects together the electronic element and the passive element.
