LENS COVER MECHANISM FOR A PROJECTOR

The disclosed sliding lens cover mechanism for a projector is easy to use and can prevent noise. Said lens cover mechanism has: a front panel having a part where a projection lens can be exposed; a lens cover that moves, on the front panel, between a fully-open state in which the projection lens is exposed and a fully-closed state in which the lens cover covers the projection lens; and a slider unit that biases the lens cover towards either the fully-open state or the fully-closed state. The lens cover is provided with a pin that protrudes towards the front panel, and the front panel is provided with a slide plate against which said pin abuts only in the fully-open state or only in the fully-closed state.
