A combustion-supporting device for an internal combustion engine of automobile includes an atomizing system for atomizing water or aqueous liquid, and a mixed combustion system. The atomizing system comprises a water storage tank (1), a water pump (9) and an atomizing cylinder (3). The water storage tank (1) and the atomizing cylinder (3) are respectively connected to the water pump (9) by a pipeline. A plurality of ultrasonic atomizers (4) are arranged in the atomizing cylinder (3). The mixed combustion system comprises an ozone generator (14) which is connected to an air inlet of the atomizing cylinder (3) by a pipeline. An air outlet of the atomizing cylinder (3) is connected to one end of a mist flow control pipe (17) for adjusting and controlling mist feeding quantity. The other end of the mist flow control pipe (17) is connected to an air intake port of the engine. The combustion-supporting device can improve combustion efficiency and reduce exhaust of greenhouse gas and pollution to the environment.
