<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge excellent in maintainability by making reliable the power supply of a bias. <P>SOLUTION: When a regulation member 203 is present, in the initial stage of the insertion of the process cartridge, the bottom surface of a process cartridge frame 201 comes into contact with and slides on a guide rail 105 and the process cartridge is lower than a normal position, as shown by the Fig.8, but the taper part 203a of the regulation member 203 rides on the guide rail 105, just before power supply terminals 13 and 46 come into contact, so that the process cartridge is lifted up to be higher than the normal position.
