PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying technology capable of precisely preventing creeping-into of a printing medium when placing the carried printing medium. SOLUTION: When a plurality of printing media S are longitudinally placed in parallel in the carrying direction on a carrier belt 2b, the carrier belt 2b is driven, and the printing media S abut on an abutting member 3a, and are dropped and stacked on a stacking plate 3b. At this time, the carrying speed of the carrier belt 2b is set slower in the carrying speed as the distance D between a downstream side end part in the carrying direction of the printing media S and the abutting member 3a becomes shorter.
