<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic excavation propulsion device provided with a propulsion mechanism enabling efficient excavation while stably supporting an excavating reaction force generated by an earth auger comprising an excavating part having a larger diameter and an earth conveying part having a smaller diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic excavation propulsion device includes the propulsion mechanism 10 which serves based on peristaltic motion and includes a hollow part 11 penetrating in the axial direction, and the earth auger 50 arranged in the hollow part and rotated relatively to the propulsion mechanism. The propulsion mechanism is provided with at least three extensible units 12 arranged in a row. Outer diameters of the extensible units are expandable and contractable individually. Each of the extensible units 12 lengthens in the axial direction when the diameter contracts, and shortens in the axial direction when the diameter expands. The earth auger includes an excavating screw 53 having a larger diameter at the front end, and a conveying screw 60 with a smaller diameter which is arranged in the hollow part and is continuously integrated with a rear end of the excavating screw to convey the excavated earth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
