WIRE USING COMPOSITE MATERIAL, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND ELECTRIC WIRE USING THE SAME WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire using a composite material which is formed of an aluminum material containing carbon nanotubes dispersed therein and which has high mechanical strength.

SOLUTION: The wire uses the composite material in which the carbon nanotubes are dispersed in the aluminum material, and a compounding ratio of the carbon nanotubes to the aluminum material in the wire is in a range of 0.2-5 wt.%. The wire includes a cell structure having a partition part containing carbon nanotubes and a partition interior part surrounded by the partition part and made of the aluminum material and inevitable impurities.
