<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate data of an image more improving artistic direction effects while taking an overall source image into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: A large-sized processing target selecting section 53 selects data of a plurality of pixels subjected to texture processing for YUV components of a source image. A large-sized drawing direction determining section 54 determines a drawing direction of a stroke pattern from edge strengths in horizontal and vertical directions for each predetermined pixel unit in the Y component of the source image. A large-sized texture processing section 55 applies first texture processing using colors of the pixels to the data of the plurality of pixels selected by the large-sized processing target selecting section 53 while using a drawing pattern of the drawing direction determined by the large-sized drawing direction determining section 54. A small-sized processing target selecting section 56, a small-sized drawing direction determining section 57 and a small-sized texture processing section 58 also perform second texture processing similar to the first processing only in the vicinity of an edge of the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
