PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper postprocessing device capable of properly applying folding processing without causing a flaw and wrinkles in a paper bundle, without causing a cost increase. SOLUTION: A fold line is attached to a center-binding position by making a folding blade act on the paper bundle S obtained by binding the center with a staple unit while being registered on a staple tray, and the paper bundle S is carried to a press unit on a carrier roller 38 in a twofold-state so that the center-binding position with the fold-line is the forefront. The folding processing is applied to the center-binding paper bundle S by pressing one folding plate 20a to the other folding plate 20b side by a pressing mechanism 21 while sandwiching the center-binding position of the paper bundle S between a pair of folding plates 20a and 20b of a press unit.
